Expert advisory group for endometrial cancer consultation 2024

The VICS have convened an expert advisory group of 24 multidisciplinary stakeholders in endometrial cancer care, from across Victoria, to inform the next VICS Optimal Care Summits consultation. This is our first consultation to focus specifically on endometrial cancer. The advisory group, listed below, met for the first time in early June 2024 and will come together regularly between now and the consultation’s live summit event on 22 November 2024.

They will guide surveys of stakeholders in endometrial/uterine cancer care, analysis of data from multiple sources, and identification of ‘unwarranted variations’ in care and outcomes that should be discussed at the summit. The summit will then generate proposed actions for cancer service improvement priorities to improve the care provided to people with endometrial cancer and their families across Victoria.

To participate in the consultation, anyone involved in care or support for people affected by endometrial or uterine cancer is encouraged to register their details through the VICS’ quick web form.
